I am a classically trained pianist and flutist who has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from McGill University, as well as Grade 10 piano certification from the Royal Conservatory of Music. I have taught private lessons in piano, flute, and music theory since 1988. In addition, I have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. I volunteered as a Girl Guide/Girl Scout leader for ten years because I love working with young children. I also have two children of my own, now 6 and 8 years old. Teaching Music for Young Children® is a perfect way for me to combine my passion for music with my enthusiasm for working with small children.
